Back in December 2015, a small dog (Justice) was discovered behind a shopping centre with his neck, paws and snout bound in electrical tape. Justice was taken to the Humane Society where he was treated for his injuries. The man responsible for the abuse was sentenced to jail and Justice made full recovery in his new home.
This year, a plush toy in Justice's image is being sold by Windsor/Essex County Humane Society to raise money for animal cruelty investigations. The plush costs $30 and is being sold at Devonshire Mall from November 12-20 (more information here).
